Allirra Moore is a proud Wodi Wodi woman of Yuin Nation who comes from Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community on the South Coast. She was born and raised on Darkinjung Country.
Allirra finished year 12 at Kincumber High School in 2019. Since then she has completed her Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management as well as a Certificate III in Guiding. Allirra has been painting since the age of 10 and is an emerging artist here on The Central Coast. In 2018 she started selling her art at The Blak Markets in Sydney.
Most of her Inspiration comes from landscapes, people and connection to country. Over the last couple of years, Allirra has had experience working with organisations such as YMCA and has been part of The Saltwater Freshwater Exhibition and BLM Exhibition.
Allirra was nominated for the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards in 2021 – where she was a finalist in the Aboriginal Education Category. In the future Allirra aims to work and care for country in National Parks and Wildlife as well as guiding, sharing knowledge on bush tucker and culture. Allirra enjoys being surrounded by the Aboriginal community on the Central Coast and attending local events.
Allirrais now a Trainee Project Officer at Barang Regional Alliance where she is undertaking a Diploma in Leadership and Management. She hopes to work closely and shed light to the local Aboriginal Community on the Central Coast.
